We are looking for a passionate and skilled PHP Laravel Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building, maintaining, and optimizing web applications using the Laravel framework. You will work closely with designers, developers, and project managers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure web applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using PHP and Laravel.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs with third-party services.
- Design and optimize MySQL databases for performance and scalability.
- Write clean, reusable, secure, and well-documented code following coding standards.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Participate in application architecture, database design, and feature planning.
- Perform code reviews and maintain high code quality.
- Optimize application performance, security, and scalability.
- Use Git for version control and team collaboration.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Stay updated with the latest Laravel and PHP technologies and recommend improvements where applicable.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of PHP and the Laravel Framework.
- Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and MVC Architecture.
- Experience with MySQL and Eloquent ORM.
- Hands-on experience in developing and consuming REST APIs.
- Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Experience with Git/GitHub and version control workflows.
- Familiarity with Composer and Laravel Artisan commands.
- Understanding of authentication, authorization, middleware, and validation in Laravel.
- Basic knowledge of Linux server environments is an added advantage.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in Full Stake PHP Laravel development.
- Experience working on live web applications.
- GitHub profile or portfolio showcasing previous work will be an added advantage.
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
- Experience with Laravel Queues, Scheduler, Caching, or Redis.
- Knowledge of Docker, CI/CD, or AWS/Digital Ocean.
- Experience with payment gateway or third-party API integrations.
- Basic understanding of Vue.js or React is a plus.
