We're Hiring: Interior Draftsman
Location: Kozhikode, Kerala
IAMA Designers & Developers LLP is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Interior Draftsman to join our growing team. If you have a strong understanding of interior detailing, technical drawings, and drafting standards, we'd love to hear from you.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on premium residential and commercial interior projects in a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed 2D interior drawings, working drawings, and shop drawings based on design concepts.
- Develop furniture layouts, ceiling plans, electrical layouts, flooring plans, and detailed joinery drawings.
- Coordinate with interior designers, architects, project managers, and site teams to ensure accurate project execution.
- Revise drawings based on design updates, client requirements, and site conditions.
- Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications and company drafting standards.
- Assist in preparing BOQs, material schedules, and drawing documentation.
- Maintain organized project documentation and drawing records.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience as an Interior Draftsman.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
- Knowledge of SketchUp, 3D visualization software, or BIM tools will be an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of interior detailing, construction drawings, materials, and space planning.
- Excellent attention to detail, communication, and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
