Job Overview
Fitbird Private Limited is looking for a hands-on Network & Hardware Engineer to support networking, CCTV, IP-based communication, office IT infrastructure and associated engineering projects. The role will primarily involve field execution, cable laying, network configuration, installation, troubleshooting and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Laying, routing, termination and testing of OFC and CAT-6 cables.
- OFC splicing, termination and testing.
- Installation, configuration and programming of managed and unmanaged network switches.
- Cabling and networking for CCTV surveillance systems.
- Installation, alignment, configuration and troubleshooting of IP CCTV cameras.
- Cabling and network setup for IP-based Public Address (PA) Systems.
- Setting up LAN networks and network nodes for offices, workstations and equipment.
- Laying and termination of cables associated with firefighting and fire alarm systems.
- Installation and configuration of network racks, patch panels, switches, routers and other networking hardware.
- Troubleshooting and repair of desktop PCs, monitors and computer peripherals.
- Testing of network connectivity and identification of cable/network faults.
- Preparation of basic cable layouts, network diagrams, documentation and work completion reports.
- Coordination with project engineers and site teams for execution of networking and IT works.
- Installation, testing and commissioning of systems at various project sites.
Qualification
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech / BCA / B.Sc. in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, Electrical, Networking or equivalent qualification.
Candidates with relevant hardware and networking certifications may also apply.
Desired Skills
Hands-on knowledge of OFC, CAT-6 cabling, LAN networking, TCP/IP, switches, CCTV systems and computer hardware is preferred. The candidate should be comfortable with site work, tools, troubleshooting and travelling to project locations.
Freshers with strong practical knowledge and willingness to learn are also welcome to apply.
Preferred Candidate
We are looking for someone who is practical, technically inclined, hardworking and willing to work both at the office and project sites. The ability to independently troubleshoot problems and complete assigned work within timelines will be preferred.
Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹15,007.58 per month
