About the Role:
We are looking for a highly skilled 2D Draughtsman who will take full ownership of our 2D Drawing Department for residential interior projects. This person will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and standardizing all 2D detailing work, setting the company’s 2D drawing standards & formats, ensuring accuracy and quality, training designers, and creating a streamlined process for all design deliverables.
You will be the go-to person for everything related to 2D drawings — from concept stage to final execution-ready files.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed, accurate, and high-quality 2D drawings for residential interior projects, including furniture layouts, electrical layouts, false ceiling plans, flooring plans, elevations, and sectional details.
- Develop and implement a standard format & templates for all 2D drawings and design dockets for the company.
- Perform drawing checks & quality control before client submission or handover to execution teams.
- Coordinate closely with interior designers, 3D visualizers, and project managers to ensure drawings are aligned with the approved design and site requirements.
- Maintain and organize drawing files for easy retrieval and record-keeping.
- Train and mentor junior designers in 2D drafting techniques, detailing standards, and accuracy practices.
- Collaborate with the design head/management to continuously improve company-wide 2D quality standards.
- Ensure drawings comply with Vastu guidelines (where applicable) and align with execution feasibility.
- Suggest design improvements where required during the detailing stage.
Requirements:
- Diploma / Degree in Interior Design / Architecture / Civil Engineering or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in residential interior 2D drafting and detailing.
- Expert in AutoCAD (knowledge of additional design/drafting tools will be a plus).
- Strong knowledge of detailing standards, joinery details, and material specifications for interiors.
- Ability to create company-wide drawing standards and formats.
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and speed.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Reliability, ownership mindset, and problem-solving skills.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
