Job Summary
The Admission Counsellor is responsible for guiding prospective students through the admission process by understanding their educational background, career aspirations, and learning needs. The role involves counselling students, recommending suitable courses, following up on enquiries, and converting leads into admissions while ensuring a positive student experience.
Key ResponsibilitiesStudent Counselling
- Welcome and counsel walk-in, phone, WhatsApp, website, and social media enquiries.
- Understand each student's educational background, interests, and career goals.
- Recommend suitable courses based on the student's objectives and skill level.
- Explain course curriculum, duration, certification, fees, scholarship offers, and placement assistance.
Admissions
- Guide students through the complete admission process.
- Assist with application forms, document verification, registration, and fee collection.
- Ensure all admission records are accurate and complete.
Lead Management
- Follow up with prospective students through calls, WhatsApp, email, and SMS.
- Convert enquiries into admissions by maintaining regular communication.
- Maintain enquiry and follow-up records in the CRM or admission management system.
- Achieve monthly admission and conversion targets.
Student Relationship
- Build trust and maintain positive relationships with students and parents.
- Resolve admission-related queries promptly and professionally.
- Coordinate with trainers and the administration team to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
Marketing Support
- Support educational seminars, career guidance sessions, and promotional events.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to follow up on campaign-generated leads.
- Collect student feedback and success stories for promotional activities.
Reporting
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on enquiries, follow-ups, admissions, and conversions.
- Track counselling performance and recommend improvements to increase admissions.
Required Skills

- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Ability to work under admission targets and deadlines.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- 1–3 years of experience in admissions, education counselling, sales, or customer service.
- Fresh graduates with excellent communication skills are encouraged to apply.

Working Hours
