Job Description
We are seeking a skilled PCB Designer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and modifying Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) for electronic products while ensuring quality, manufacturability, and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
Design multilayer PCB layouts based on schematic designs.
Create and maintain PCB libraries and component footprints.
Perform component placement, routing, and design optimization.
Generate manufacturing files (Gerber, BOM, Pick & Place, Assembly Drawings).
Work closely with hardware engineers to ensure design requirements are met.
Conduct design rule checks (DRC) and resolve layout issues.
Support prototype builds, testing, and design revisions.
Ensure PCB designs comply with EMI/EMC and manufacturing guidelines.
Required Skills
Experience with PCB design tools such as Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, OrCAD, or KiCad.
Knowledge of PCB fabrication and assembly processes.
Understanding of analog, digital, power, and high-speed circuit layouts.
Familiarity with IPC standards and design guidelines.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Qualifications
Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
2–5 years of experience in PCB design and layout.
