Job Summary
SCISM Group of Schools is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to inspire students and foster a strong understanding of scientific concepts. The ideal candidate will create engaging learning experiences, encourage critical thinking, and help students develop a passion for science through practical and interactive teaching methods.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver effective Science lessons in accordance with the prescribed curriculum.
- Teach Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and General Science as applicable to the assigned grade levels.
- Prepare lesson plans, assignments, projects, and assessment materials.
- Conduct practical demonstrations and laboratory activities safely and effectively.
- Encourage scientific inquiry, experimentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Assess student performance and provide timely feedback.
- Maintain student academic records and progress reports.
- Prepare students for examinations and academic competitions.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching methodologies into classroom instruction.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, staff meetings, and school events.
- Ensure proper maintenance and safe usage of laboratory equipment and materials.
- Foster discipline, teamwork, and a positive learning environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Science (B.Sc.) in a relevant subject.
- Prior teaching experience in CBSE/Matriculation schools preferred.
- Strong subject knowledge and communication skills.
