Job Description – Wax Finisher
Position: Wax Finisher
Location: SEEPZ, Mumbai

Job Responsibilities
- Perform finishing and cleaning of jewellery wax patterns after the wax pulling process.
- Remove excess wax, flash, joints, and unwanted marks from wax patterns.
- Ensure wax patterns have proper shape, detailing, smoothness, and finishing as per the design.
- Check wax pieces for defects such as cracks, dents, air bubbles, and incomplete detailing.
- Use appropriate hand tools for accurate wax finishing and correction.
- Maintain the original design and fine details while finishing the wax pattern.
- Separate defective pieces and carry out necessary rework or corrections.
- Coordinate with the Wax Pulling, Mould, CAD, and Production teams when required.
- Maintain cleanliness of tools and the work area.
- Complete assigned work within production targets while maintaining quality.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of jewellery wax finishing and detailing.
- Experience in handling wax patterns and jewellery moulds.
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Ability to identify and correct minor wax defects.
- Knowledge of gold and diamond jewellery manufacturing will be preferred.
- Ability to work under production targets and timelines.
- Good teamwork and coordination skills.
Qualification
- 10th/12th pass or equivalent.
- Relevant jewellery manufacturing experience preferred.
Salary
₹20,000 – ₹22,000 per month, depending on experience and skills.
