Job Summary
WEFIT Group is looking for an experienced and proactive Accounts Manager to oversee the financial operations of our UAE and India businesses. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate accounting, timely reporting, cash flow management, statutory compliance, and effective coordination with management and operational teams.
The candidate should possess strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple companies simultaneously.
Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Management
- Manage the complete accounting operations of multiple group companies.
- Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded and updated daily.
- Review and approve accounting entries prepared by the accounting team.
- Prepare monthly Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports.
- Monitor company cash flow and prepare weekly cash flow forecasts.
- Ensure timely bank reconciliations for all company accounts.
- Maintain proper records of receivables, payables, and project costs.
Budgeting & Cost Control
- Monitor project costs and profitability.
- Compare actual expenses against approved budgets.
- Identify unnecessary expenses and recommend cost-saving measures.
- Prepare management reports with financial analysis and recommendations.
Accounts Receivable & Payable
- Ensure timely customer invoicing and payment follow-ups.
- Monitor overdue receivables and coordinate collections.
- Review supplier payments and ensure payments are made according to approved schedules.
- Verify all payment requests with supporting documents before processing.
Compliance
- Ensure compliance with VAT regulations and tax requirements.
- Coordinate VAT return preparation and submission.
- Maintain proper documentation for audits.
- Coordinate with external auditors and consultants.
Financial Reporting
- Prepare Daily Financial Dashboard for management.
- Prepare Weekly Outstanding Receivable Report.
- Prepare Weekly Payable Report.
- Prepare Monthly MIS Reports.
- Present key financial performance indicators to management.
Team Management
- Lead and supervise the accounting team.
- Assign daily tasks and review work quality.
- Ensure deadlines are met without follow-up.
- Train and develop junior accountants.
- Conduct regular performance reviews.
Internal Controls
- Establish and maintain strong financial controls.
- Verify supporting documents before approving transactions.
- Monitor compliance with company financial policies.
- Improve accounting processes and automation.
- Ensure all vendor documents (Trade License, VAT Certificate, Bank Details, Agreements) are properly maintained.
Software & Systems
- Manage accounting records using Zoho Books.
- Ensure proper use of accounting software and financial systems.
- Coordinate with management for process improvements and automation.
Coordination
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Procurement, HR, and Operations teams.
- Support management with financial planning and business decisions.
- Ensure smooth communication between UAE and India offices.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Finance or Accounting.
- CA Inter / CMA / MBA Finance is an added advantage.
- Minimum 5-8 years of accounting experience.
- Minimum 2 years in a managerial or team leadership role.
- Experience handling multiple companies is preferred.
- Experience in the Construction, Interior Fit-out, Contracting, or Manufacturing industry is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Experience with Zoho Books (preferred) or Tally/ERP systems.
- Excellent MS Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Month-end accounts closed within 5 working days
- VAT filings submitted on time with zero penalties
- Daily financial reports submitted before the agreed deadline
- Bank reconciliations completed weekly
- Customer collections achieved as per targets
- Supplier payments processed as scheduled
- Outstanding receivables maintained within company targets
- Accurate monthly financial statements with minimal corrections
- Compliance with company accounting policies and audit requirements

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
