Job Summary
We are looking for an Optometrist to provide quality eye-care and vision services at our clinic. The role will involve conducting eye examinations, identifying vision problems, prescribing corrective lenses, maintaining patient records, providing eye-care counseling, and supporting the clinic's optical business.
The ideal candidate should have strong clinical skills, good patient communication, and an interest in both optometry and optical services.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive eye and vision examinations for patients.
- Assess and identify refractive errors and common vision problems.
- Prescribe appropriate spectacles, lenses, and contact lenses as required.
- Maintain accurate patient history, examination findings, prescriptions, and records.
- Counsel patients on eye care, vision protection, and preventive practices.
- Guide patients in selecting appropriate frames and lenses based on their vision needs, lifestyle, and preferences.
- Ensure accurate optical measurements and dispensing.
- Support optical sales and clinic business targets through ethical, patient-focused recommendations.
- Monitor optical inventory and coordinate stock requirements.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of optometry and optical equipment.
- Follow clinical, safety, and operational protocols.
- Coordinate with doctors and clinic staff for appropriate patient care.
- Maintain basic MIS and reports using MS Excel.
Qualifications & Experience
- B.Optom / M.Optom from a recognized institution.
- Valid registration/certification as applicable under relevant regulations.
- 1–3 years of experience in clinical optometry, optical retail, hospital, or clinic settings.
- Experience in retail optical sales will be an advantage.
- MS Excel knowledge is mandatory.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
