Job Description: Boiler Attendant (ITI Certified)
We are hiring an ITI Certified Boiler Attendant responsible for the safe, efficient, and continuous operation of boiler systems and associated equipment in the plant.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor boiler systems to ensure smooth and safe plant operations.
- Perform routine inspection, cleaning, and preventive maintenance of boiler equipment and related components.
- Conduct regular boiler water testing and adjust chemical dosing to prevent scaling, corrosion, and deposits.
- Monitor key parameters such as pressure, temperature, water level, and fuel consumption.
- Attend breakdowns and carry out basic troubleshooting and corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Maintain proper logbooks and records of inspections, maintenance activities, and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, boiler operation procedures, and statutory regulations.
- Coordinate with maintenance and production teams for planned shutdowns and repairs.
- Report abnormalities, equipment faults, or safety concerns to the supervisor promptly.
Qualification:
- ITI Certified (Boiler Attendant / Mechanical Trade preferred)
- Basic knowledge of boiler operations and safety procedures
- Ability to work in shifts and handle emergency situations
- Discipline, responsibility, and attention to detail
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
