Job Summary:
The AV Support Engineer is responsible for the setup, Projects, operation, troubleshooting,
and maintenance of Audio-Visual systems across meeting rooms, conference spaces,
boardrooms, and event areas. The role requires hands-on technical expertise, strong
communication skills, and the ability to coordinate with internal teams and vendors to ensure
seamless AV operations.
Key Responsibilities (Applicable Across All Experience Levels):
Provide day-to-day support for AV systems, including video conferencing, projectors,
microphones, displays, speakers, control systems, and scheduling panels.
Operate and support Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, and other conferencing
platforms.
Perform routine health checks and preventative maintenance of AV infrastructure.
Support live events, town halls, and hybrid meetings ensuring high-quality AV
delivery.
Maintain inventory of AV equipment and coordinate repairs/replacements with
vendors.
Escalate and follow up on issues with OEMs or service providers.
Log incidents, requests, and resolutions in the IT service management platform.
Support AV integrations with meeting room booking systems and digital signage
Strong knowledge of AV infrastructure and control systems (e.g., Crestron, Extron,
AMX).
Experience with AV over IP solutions and structured cabling.
Proficiency in supporting events, including multi-room setups and live streaming.
