We are looking for a creative and performance-driven Video Editor who understands social media trends, audience psychology, and conversion-focused editing. If you have a passion for storytelling and can transform raw footage into high-engagement content, we would like to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities Social Media Video Editing (Primary Focus)
Create engaging content for:
- Instagram Reels
- Facebook Reels & Feed Videos
- YouTube Shorts
Responsibilities Include:
- Create compelling hooks within the first 3–5 seconds
- Add subtitles, captions, motion graphics, and strong calls-to-action
- Use engaging transitions and pacing techniques to improve audience retention
- Optimize content for:
- 9:16 Vertical Format (Reels/Shorts)
- 1:1 Square Format (Social Media Feeds)
- Repurpose long-form videos into short-form, high-retention clips
- Edit content according to platform trends, algorithms, and engagement strategies
YouTube & Long-Form Content Editing
- Edit professional 16:9 YouTube videos
- Maintain smooth storytelling and viewer engagement
- Add background music, sound effects, graphics, branding elements, and visual enhancements
- Ensure high-quality output with clean transitions and professional pacing
Performance Marketing & Ad Creatives
- Create high-converting video advertisements for digital campaigns
- Collaborate with the marketing team to produce performance-focused creatives
- Deliver multiple ad variations for A/B testing and campaign optimization
Required Skills & QualificationsExperience
- 1–2 years of professional video editing experience
Technical Skills
Strong working knowledge of:
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe After Effects (Basic to Intermediate)
Additional Skills
- Color correction and basic color grading
- Audio syncing, cleanup, and enhancement
- Subtitles, captions, and typography
- Strong understanding of pacing, hooks, and audience retention
- Familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube content trends
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Media, Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred
