Key Responsibilities :
1. SEO Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute SEO strategies tailored to resort, hotel, and hospitality services.
- Conduct keyword research focusing on travel intent (e.g., resort stays, weddings, events, weekend getaways).
- Identify seasonal trends and location-based search opportunities.
2. Website Optimization (On-Page SEO)
- Optimize website content, meta tags, headings, URLs, and internal linking structure.
- Ensure all resort pages (rooms, amenities, dining, events, weddings) are SEO-friendly.
- Implement schema markup (hotel, reviews, events, FAQs).
- Improve page load speed and mobile responsiveness.
3. Content Strategy & Development
- Plan and manage SEO-driven content such as blogs, landing pages, and travel guides.
- Optimize content for high-conversion keywords (e.g., “luxury resort near [location]”).
- Collaborate with content and design teams for engaging and search-optimized content.
4. Local SEO & Listings Management
- Optimize and manage Google Business Profile and other local listings.
- Ensure NAP (Name, Address, Phone Number) consistency across directories.
- Drive local search visibility for “near me” and destination-based queries.
- Manage and improve online reviews and ratings.
5. Technical SEO
- Conduct regular website audits to identify and fix technical issues (crawl errors, broken links, indexing issues).
- Optimize XML sitemaps, robots.txt, and site architecture.
- Work with developers to implement technical SEO improvements.
6. Off-Page SEO & Link Building
- Develop backlink strategies through partnerships, travel blogs, and hospitality directories.
- Collaborate with influencers and travel platforms for organic link acquisition.
- Monitor backlink profile and domain authority.
7. Performance Tracking & Reporting
- Track and analyze SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEO platforms.
- Monitor keyword rankings, organic traffic, and conversion rates.
- Prepare regular performance reports with actionable insights.
8. Competitor & Market Analysis
- Analyze competitor SEO strategies within the hospitality and resort industry.
- Identify gaps and opportunities to improve search visibility.
9. Collaboration & Coordination
- Work closely with marketing, sales, and reservations teams to align SEO with business goals.
- Support digital marketing campaigns (paid ads, social media) with SEO insights.
10. Conversion Optimization
- Optimize landing pages to improve booking conversions.
- Conduct A/B testing for page layouts, CTAs, and content performance.
