We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Executive to manage day-to-day logistics operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in first-mile and last-mile operations, weight management, client coordination, and operational reporting. The role requires strong coordination skills with courier partners and internal teams to ensure smooth shipment movement and high service quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage First Mile pickup operations and ensure timely pickup arrangements.
- Coordinate Last Mile delivery operations with courier partners to improve delivery performance.
- Handle shipment weight management, including weight discrepancies, reconciliations, and dispute resolution.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with logistics partners and clients.
- Monitor shipment lifecycle and resolve operational escalations.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports related to operations, pickup performance, delivery performance, and weight reconciliation.
- Analyze operational KPIs and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Coordinate with internal teams such as Customer Support, Finance, and Technology for issue resolution.
- Ensure adherence to operational SLAs and company processes.
Required Skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics or e-commerce operations.
- Strong understanding of First Mile and Last Mile logistics operations.
- Experience in weight reconciliation and shipment auditing.
- Good knowledge of courier operations and logistics workflows.
- Excellent client handling and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, basic formulas) and MIS reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Preferred Background
Candidates with experience in logistics aggregators, courier companies, 3PL providers, or e-commerce logistics platforms will be preferred.
