Gappeo is hiring a Full Stack Developer to join our engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity for freshers and early-career developers (0–1 year experience) who want to work across the entire stack — frontend and backend — on a live recruitment and hiring platform. If you enjoy both building UI and writing backend logic, and want broad exposure early in your career, this role is for you.
About the Role
As a Full Stack Developer at Gappeo, you will work across our React frontend and Python/FastAPI backend, collaborating with both frontend and backend specialists. You'll get hands-on experience building UI components, integrating APIs, and understanding how frontend and backend systems connect — giving you a uniquely broad foundation early in your engineering career.
What You'll Do
- Build frontend and backend features across the full stack
- Work with React/Redux on the frontend and Python/FastAPI on the backend
- Debug applications across both frontend and backend layers
- Collaborate closely with other developers on feature design and implementation
- Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews
- Follow coding standards across both frontend and backend codebases
What We're Looking For
- Working knowledge of React and Redux for frontend development
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript
- Working knowledge of Python and exposure to FastAPI (or similar frameworks)
- Comfort moving between frontend and backend tasks
- Basic Git version control skills
- A Computer Science degree, related field, or equivalent self-taught/project experience
- 0–1 year of professional experience — freshers are strongly encouraged to apply
