Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Principal Engineer/Technical Lead for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Ukraine. Our client is a developer of a planning platform that links prospective community college students with universities.
You'll lead the design and delivery of a modern, integration-driven SaaS platform. This role is ideal for a hands-on technical leader who thrives in complex environments involving third-party integrations, scalable backend systems, and cross-functional collaboration. The engagement involves building and extending a centralized Integration Hub that connects to multiple enterprise systems, as well as developing a React-based platform interface that enables internal teams to manage integrations and onboarding workflows. It is not a pure management role. It is a deep technical leadership position requiring strong architectural thinking, hands-on coding, and the ability to guide a small team toward high-quality, production-ready outcomes. You will be expected to work across this full stack, with a primary focus on backend architecture and integrations.
A minimum overlap with U.S. Eastern Time (New York / Miami) working hours is required.
