Job Summary
Travelust is seeking an experienced and results-driven Manager – Domestic Sales to lead and grow our domestic travel business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales, developing client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring the achievement of revenue targets. The role requires a strong understanding of the travel industry, excellent customer relationship skills, and the ability to lead a sales-focused team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase domestic travel bookings and revenue
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through corporate clients, travel agents, institutions, and direct customers
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
- Lead, guide, and motivate the sales team to achieve business targets
- Monitor sales performance and prepare regular reports for management
- Handle key customer accounts and support the team in closing high-value deals
- Coordinate with operations and reservations teams to ensure seamless service delivery
- Conduct market research to identify emerging travel trends and customer needs
- Promote domestic tour packages, holiday packages, group tours, and customized travel solutions
- Participate in networking events, client meetings, and business development activities
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service quality
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Tourism, Travel Management, or a related field
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in travel sales, tourism, hospitality, or business development
- Proven experience in achieving sales targets and driving business growth
- Prior experience managing or leading a sales team is preferred
- Strong knowledge of domestic travel destinations, packages, and tourism trends
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment
- Fluency in English and Malayalam; additional languages are an advantage
