Job Title: Accountant
Location: Nashik, Maharashtra
Job Type: Full-time
Experience: 2–5 years (preferably in real estate or construction industry)
Role Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to manage financial operations for our real estate / construction projects. The role involves handling day-to-day accounting, project costing, vendor payments, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records for multiple projects and business entities
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, including vendor bills and client invoicing
- Monitor project-wise costing, budgeting, and expense tracking
- Prepare monthly financial reports, MIS, and cash flow statements
- Manage GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances and filings
- Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts regularly
- Coordinate with site teams for expense verification and documentation
- Assist in audits and ensure proper financial documentation
- Track advances, petty cash, and site-level expenses
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic taxation
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., Tally, Busy, or similar)
- Good understanding of construction/project-based accounting
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in MS Excel
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in real estate or construction industry
- Knowledge of project costing and contract accounting
- Familiarity with compliance and audit processes
