Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for employees facing technical issues. Your primary responsibility will be maintaining, troubleshooting, and upgrading workstation hardware, software, and local networks to ensure minimal downtime and optimal business operations.Key Responsibilities
- Technical Support: Resolve daily helpdesk tickets regarding hardware failures, software glitches, and operating system errors.
- Hardware Maintenance: Assemble, install, configure, and repair desktop computers, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.
- Software Deployment: Install, update, and license authorized software applications, operating systems (Windows/macOS), and security tools.
- Network Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve basic local area network (LAN), Wi-Fi, and internet connectivity issues.
- Asset Tracking: Maintain an accurate inventory of all company hardware, software licenses, and IT peripherals.
- User Onboarding: Set up workstations and basic hardware configurations for new hires.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in a technical support, desktop support, or IT technician role.
- Operating Systems: Deep familiarity with Windows 10/11 and macOS environments.
- Certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Fundamentals certifications are highly desirable.
- Problem Solving: Strong diagnostic and analytical skills to resolve complex hardware and software issues efficiently.
- Communication: Clear verbal and written communication skills to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
Physical Demands
- Ability to lift up to 15 kg (30 lbs) to move servers, computers, and monitors.
- Comfortable crawling under desks or in tight spaces to manage cables and network wiring.
Pay: From ₹330,312.72 per year
Work Location: In person
