- Manage complete tyre maintenance activities for trucks, trailers and heavy commercial vehicles.
- Plan and implement preventive tyre inspection and maintenance schedules.
- Conduct regular tyre inspections for tread depth, air pressure, cuts, cracks, uneven wear, bulging and other damages.
- Monitor tyre life, mileage, performance and cost per kilometre.
- Analyze premature tyre failures and identify the root cause.
- Control tyre-related expenses and implement cost-saving measures.
- Monitor tyre rotation, wheel alignment and balancing requirements.
- Ensure proper tyre fitting, removal, repair and replacement procedures.
- Monitor tyre retreading and casing performance.
- Maintain complete records of tyre issue, fitting, removal, repair, rotation and scrap.
- Maintain tyre-wise and vehicle-wise history with serial numbers and mileage.
- Manage new tyre purchases, tyre stock and minimum/maximum inventory levels.
- Coordinate with tyre manufacturers, dealers, vendors and retreading companies.
- Negotiate with tyre vendors for pricing, warranty, quality and service.
- Process and follow up on tyre warranty claims.
- Inspect and approve damaged/scrap tyres before disposal.
- Supervise Tyre Technicians, Tyre Men, Helpers and related workshop manpower.
- Allocate daily tyre maintenance jobs and monitor completion.
- Train tyre maintenance staff on safety and proper tyre handling procedures.
- Coordinate with Fleet, Workshop and Operations teams to reduce vehicle downtime.
- Ensure all tyre-related work follows company SOPs and safety standards.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly tyre performance reports.
- Track key KPIs such as Tyre KM, Tyre Cost/KM, Tyre Life, Failure Rate, Scrap %, Retread Performance and Tyre Inventory.
- Identify repeated tyre failures and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Conduct periodic tyre audits across all fleet locations.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
