Role Overview
This is not a typical inside sales or desk-based role. As a Traveling Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for owning a U.S. sales territory, engaging directly with jewelry retailers, and driving growth through in-person account development. Backed by our India-based inside sales and operations teams, you will focus on opening new accounts, nurturing relationships, and scaling revenue across U.S. markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a defined U.S. territory for lab-grown diamond jewelry sales.
- Travel extensively across U.S. states to conduct in-person store visits, meetings, and relationship building.
- Prospect, pitch, and onboard new jewelry retailers and distributors.
- Grow existing accounts by identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
- Collaborate with India-based inside sales and operations teams for lead generation, order processing, and fulfillment.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and market insights to management.
Required Qualifications & Skills (Must-Have)
- 5+ years of proven B2B sales, business development, or key account management experience (jewelry, luxury goods, BPO, SaaS, or other high-value B2B products).
- U.S. education background (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from the U.S. with F1, OPT, or H1B experience strongly preferred).
- Excellent spoken and written English, with the ability to present confidently to U.S. jewelry store owners, buyers, and distributors.
- Highly self-motivated, resourceful, and comfortable with solo travel and direct in-person sales.
Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have)
- Valid B1/B2 visa or prior U.S. travel experience.
- Familiarity with jewelry, luxury retail, or branded goods sales.
