Key Responsibilities
- Reception & Greeting
- Welcome patients, visitors, and guests with professionalism and empathy.
- Maintain a tidy and organized reception area.
- Patient Services
- Handle patient registration and check-in/check-out processes.
- Schedule and confirm appointments to optimize hospital resources.
- Verify insurance details and assist with billing/payment collection.
- Communication
- Answer phone calls, direct inquiries, and route calls to appropriate departments.
- Provide information about hospital services, procedures, and policies.
- Administrative Support
- Maintain patient records and update databases.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other staff for smooth patient flow.
- Handle incoming/outgoing mail and manage office supplies.
- Customer Service
- Address patient concerns and resolve queries.
- Ensure minimal wait times and a positive patient experience.
Skills Required
- Communication Skills: Clear, polite, and professional interaction with patients and staff.
- Organizational Ability: Efficient handling of multiple tasks like scheduling, record-keeping, and billing.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with hospital management software and billing systems.
- Empathy & Patience: Ability to deal with distressed patients and families.
- Problem-Solving: Quick response to unexpected situations or patient needs.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (any discipline, though healthcare administration is preferred).
- Experience: 1 year in front office, customer service, or healthcare administration.
Job Types: Full-time, Fresher, Permanent
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
