Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Calibration Management & Record Control professional to manage calibration activities, measuring instruments and calibration records within the Quality department.
The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that measuring and inspection instruments are properly identified, calibrated within the required frequency and supported by accurate calibration records.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the company's calibration system and calibration records.
- Maintain an updated master list of measuring and monitoring equipment.
- Track calibration due dates and ensure instruments are calibrated on time.
- Coordinate with approved external calibration agencies/laboratories.
- Verify calibration certificates and calibration reports.
- Review calibration results and identify deviations or out-of-tolerance conditions.
- Maintain calibration history and instrument traceability.
- Ensure proper identification/status marking of calibrated instruments.
- Maintain records for new, active, expired, damaged and rejected instruments.
- Support internal and external audits by providing calibration records.
- Ensure calibration records are properly filed and controlled.
- Coordinate with Quality, Production and Engineering teams regarding instrument availability and calibration.
- Prepare calibration schedules and periodic status reports.
- Maintain calibration-related documentation using MS Excel and MS Word.
- Support investigation and follow-up when an instrument is found to be out of calibration or out of tolerance.
Mandatory Skills
- Practical knowledge of measuring and inspection instruments.
- Knowledge of calibration records and calibration certificates.
- Ability to read and understand calibration reports.
- Good engineering drawing knowledge.
- Good documentation and record-control skills.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word.
- Knowledge of instrument identification and traceability.
- Good attention to detail.
Instruments Knowledge
Candidate should be familiar with instruments such as:
- Vernier Caliper
- Micrometer
- Height Gauge
- Bore Gauge
- Dial Gauge
- Digital Measuring Instruments
- Pressure Gauges
- Temperature Measuring Instruments
- Thread Gauges
- Plug/Ring Gauges
- Other measuring and monitoring equipment
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 2 years of relevant Quality/Calibration experience.
- Strong knowledge of calibration documentation and record control.
- Ability to read and verify calibration certificates.
- Good understanding of measuring instruments and their applications.
- Good documentation and follow-up skills.
- Freshers are not eligible.
Preferred Industry Experience
Experience in CNC machining / machine shop / precision engineering / manufacturing / Quality department will be preferred.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
