Role - Mechanical Engineer (HVAC)
Location: Iraq- Baghdad
Experience : 6+
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, installation, testing, and commissioning of central HVAC systems
- Perform HVAC load calculations and system sizing
- Integrate HVAC systems with Building Management Systems (BMS)
- Ensure compliance with international standards and best engineering practices
- Optimize system performance and energy efficiency
- Coordinate with project teams and stakeholders
- Support project planning, scheduling, and cost estimation
- Supervise site activities and ensure quality and safety compliance
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum six (6) years of experience in HVAC design, installation, and commissioning.
- Expertise in load calculation, system design, and energy efficiency.
- Familiarity with international standards (ASHRAE/ ISHARE, SMACNA).
- Project management and leadership skills.
- Software Proficiency: MS Project / Primavera, AutoCAD / Revit, HAP.
- Project Planning & Cost Estimation.
Desirable:
- Postgraduate Diploma in HVAC or Safety.
- ASHRAE or ISHRAE Membership.
- Manufacturer certifications or training (Carrier, Daikin, Trane, etc.)
