Job Title: Pre-Primary Main Teacher (CBSE Curriculum)Position Summary
We are seeking a passionate and qualified Pre-Primary Main Teacher to join a reputed CBSE school environment, similar to National Public School. The role focuses on building strong foundational skills in early learners through structured, play-based, and activity-oriented learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with CBSE pre-primary learning outcomes
- Implement play-based and experiential learning methods to develop foundational literacy and numeracy skills
- Create a safe, engaging, and child-friendly classroom environment that promotes curiosity and independence
- Conduct daily classroom activities such as storytelling, rhymes, phonics, art & craft, music, and role play
- Use creative teaching aids and interactive methods to enhance student engagement and understanding
- Maintain classroom discipline using positive reinforcement and child-centered behaviour management techniques
- Observe, assess, and record each child’s developmental progress regularly
- Maintain student portfolios, worksheets, and progress reports as per school requirements
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student performance, behaviour, and developmental milestones
- Participate actively in parent-teacher meetings, school events, celebrations, and academic programmes
- Collaborate with colleagues and coordinators for curriculum planning and thematic learning activities
- Ensure safety, hygiene, and well-being of all children at all times in the classroom and school premises
Required Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree in Early Childhood Education (NTT / Montessori / equivalent)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.Ed. preferred)
- Strong understanding of CBSE early childhood framework
- Excellent communication skills in English
Experience
- 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred
Pay: ₹23,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
