Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Power Press Incharge to oversee the operations of our Power Press department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing production activities, supervising operators, ensuring quality standards, maintaining machine efficiency, and achieving daily production targets while following all safety guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise the day-to-day operations of the Power Press section.
* Plan and allocate work to operators to ensure timely completion of production schedules.
* Ensure proper die setting, machine setup, and smooth production processes.
* Monitor production output, quality, and machine performance.
* Coordinate with the Tool Room for die maintenance, modifications, and new tool trials.
* Work closely with the Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
* Ensure compliance with quality standards and customer specifications.
* Maintain production reports, machine records, and shift-wise documentation.
* Train and guide Power Press operators on machine operation, quality, and safety procedures.
* Ensure proper implementation of 5S, housekeeping, and workplace safety.
* Identify production issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity and reduce rejection.
Required Qualifications
* Diploma/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
* ITI candidates with strong relevant experience may also apply.
Experience
* 5–10 years of experience in Power Press operations.
* Minimum 2 years of experience as a Supervisor or Incharge in a manufacturing environment.
* Experience in sheet metal component manufacturing, die setting, or press shop operations will be preferred.
Required Skills
* Strong knowledge of Mechanical Power Press machines and tooling.
* Experience in die installation, alignment, and troubleshooting.
* Ability to read engineering drawings and production specifications.
* Knowledge of production planning, quality control, and preventive maintenance.
* Good leadership, team handling, and communication skills.
* Familiarity with 5S, Kaizen, and workplace safety practices.
Pay: ₹1,000.00 - ₹1,200.00 per day
