Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service:Greeting customers, answering their questions, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Order Taking and Processing:Accurately recording customer orders, using cash registers or POS systems, and processing payments.
- Food Preparation:May include preparing simple food items like sandwiches, salads, or beverages.
- Inventory Management:Maintaining adequate stock levels of food, beverages, and other supplies.
- Cleanliness and Organization:Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, including the counter, serving areas, and kitchen.
- Other Tasks:May include answering phones, setting up tables, or other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
- Customer Service: Ability to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Communication: Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Math Skills: Basic math skills for calculating bills and making change.
- Cash Handling: Experience with cash registers and POS systems.
- Food Handling: Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
