spare parts incharge JD Spare Parts In-Charge – Job Description (JD) Job Title: Spare Parts In-Charge Department: Stores / Inventory Reports To: Service Manager / Stores Manager Job Summary The Spare Parts In-Charge is responsible for managing spare parts inventory, ensuring timely availability of parts, maintaining stock records, and supporting service and maintenance operations. Key Responsibilities Maintain and monitor spare parts inventory levels. Receive, inspect, and store spare parts properly. Issue spare parts to technicians and departments as required. Track stock movement and maintain accurate inventory records. Prepare purchase requisitions for low-stock items. Coordinate with suppliers for parts procurement and delivery. Conduct periodic stock verification and inventory audits. Ensure proper labeling, storage, and housekeeping of spare parts. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports. Minimize stock shortages, excess inventory, and obsolete parts. Maintain records in ERP/software or inventory management systems. Support service and maintenance teams with spare parts availability. Required Qualifications Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Automobile, or related field. 2–5 years of experience in spare parts, stores, or inventory management. Knowledge of inventory control and stock management. Basic computer skills (MS Excel, ERP software).
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per hour
