Role & responsibilities
The accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions,
maintaining accurate financial records, monitoring project-wise revenue and
expenses, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and taxation
regulations. The role supports smooth financial operations within the architecture
and interior design business.
1. Financial Management
- Maintain and update books of accounts on a daily basis.
- Record all financial transactions including receipts, payments, invoices, and
- expenses.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Monitor cash flow and bank balances.
2. Billing & Invoicing
- Prepare and issue client invoices based on project milestones.
- Track outstanding payments and follow up with clients for collections.
- Maintain records of project-wise billing and receipts.
3. Project Cost Tracking
- Track expenses related to each project (materials, labor, vendors, etc.).
- Maintain project-wise profitability and cost analysis reports.
- Coordinate with project managers for cost verification.
4. Vendor & Expense Management
- Process vendor payments and maintain vendor ledgers.
- Verify vendor bills and purchase invoices.
- Maintain expense records for office and project operations.
5. Taxation & Compliance
- Prepare and file GST returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Handle TDS calculations and returns.
6. Bank & Financial Reconciliation
- Perform bank reconciliations regularly.
- Monitor and record all bank transactions.
- Maintain financial accuracy in accounts.
7. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain proper financial documentation and records.
- Prepare reports required by management for financial decision making.
- Assist during internal and external audits.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
