Job Summary
Gyan International School is seeking a passionate, knowledgeable, and dynamic PGT English to teach senior secondary students and contribute to their academic and overall development. The ideal candidate should have a strong command of English language and literature, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create an engaging, student-centric learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in English Language and Literature as per the prescribed curriculum and school academic framework.
- Teach senior secondary classes with a strong focus on conceptual understanding, literary appreciation, communication, and critical thinking.
- Prepare students effectively for Class XI–XII examinations and board examinations through structured teaching, revision, practice papers, and regular feedback.
- Develop lesson plans, worksheets, question papers, assignments, projects, and other teaching-learning resources.
- Strengthen students' reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension skills.
- Use innovative and experiential teaching methodologies, including digital tools, smart-class resources, multimedia, and activity-based learning.
- Conduct regular formative and summative assessments and maintain accurate records of student performance.
- Analyse student performance and provide appropriate academic support and remedial interventions.
- Encourage students to participate in debates, declamations, elocution, creative writing, quizzes, dramatics, literary competitions, and public-speaking activities.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment that encourages curiosity, confidence, creativity, and independent thinking.
- Mentor students and support their personality development, communication skills, and life skills.
- Maintain effective communication with parents regarding students' academic progress and development.
- Collaborate with other teachers and the academic team in curriculum planning, assessments, school events, and academic initiatives.
- Participate actively in PTMs, staff meetings, workshops, professional development programmes, and school activities.
- Maintain classroom discipline, academic documentation, and other responsibilities assigned by the school administration.

Educational Qualification
- Postgraduate degree (M.A.) in English from a recognised university.
- B.Ed. from a recognised institution.
- Relevant teaching experience in a CBSE/senior secondary school will be preferred.
- Candidates with strong subject knowledge and excellent communication skills may also be considered based on the school's recruitment requirements.

Pay: ₹18,551.94 - ₹25,000.00 per month
