About the Role
Brandacy is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong video editing skills, a good understanding of social media trends, and the ability to create engaging video content for digital marketing campaigns, brands, and social media platforms.
The Video Editor will be responsible for transforming raw footage into high-quality videos that align with client requirements and Brandacy's creative standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit and produce high-quality videos for social media, websites, advertisements, and marketing campaigns.
- Create engaging short-form content for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
- Add transitions, motion graphics, visual effects, subtitles, animations, and sound effects.
- Collaborate with the marketing, content, and design teams to develop creative video concepts.
- Ensure videos are optimized for different platforms and formats.
- Manage video assets, organize project files, and maintain version control.
- Review final outputs to ensure quality, accuracy, and brand consistency.
- Stay updated with the latest video editing trends, tools, and social media content formats.
- Meet project deadlines while handling multiple assignments simultaneously.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Media, Animation, Graphic Design, Mass Communication, or a related field (preferred).
- 1–4 years of experience in video editing.
- Proficiency in:
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe After Effects
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator (preferred)
- CapCut or similar editing tools
- Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, resolutions, and export settings.
- Experience with motion graphics and basic animation.
- Good knowledge of audio editing, color correction, and visual storytelling.
- Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with digital marketing agencies.
- Knowledge of YouTube content creation and optimization.
- Experience editing podcasts, interviews, promotional videos, and social media content.
- Familiarity with AI-powered video editing tools.
