Role Description
The Technical Superintendent is a full-time, on-site role located in Navi Mumbai. The role involves managing and overseeing ship operations and maintenance of an offshore vessel modified to load LNG ISO Containers, to ensure compliance with company standards and maritime regulations. Key tasks include regular communication with Ship staff, monitor Defect list, managing purchase activities, communicating with Class, conducting regular ship inspections, supervising repair activities, ensuring smooth sailing of vessels, and providing technical support to the team. The role also requires maintaining effective communication with key stakeholders and ensuring the readiness of vessels for efficient and safe operations.
Candidate must have a US B1/B2 Visa
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Ship Management and Inspection
- In-depth understanding of Maritime operations and Marine Engineering, in particular offshore and LNG. Experience in Sailing and handling technical aspects of vessels
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work on-site in Navi Mumbai and effectively collaborate with teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering
- Sailing on offshore and Gas (LPG & LNG) vessels
- Previous experience in a similar role and knowledge of industry regulations are added advantages
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹84,282.35 per month
