Job Summary
We are looking for a VTL Operator with a minimum of 1 year of experience in operating Vertical Turning Lathe (VTL) machines. The candidate will be responsible for operating VTL machines, producing components as per drawings, and maintaining quality and productivity standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate VTL machines according to production requirements.
- Load and unload workpieces safely.
- Read and understand engineering drawings and process sheets.
- Perform basic machine offset adjustments as required.
- Inspect finished components using measuring instruments.
- Ensure components meet quality specifications and tolerances.
- Monitor machine performance and report any abnormalities.
- Follow production schedules to meet daily targets.
- Maintain machine cleanliness and follow 5S practices.
- Comply with all safety procedures and company policies.
Required Qualifications
- ITI/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Machinist, Turner, or a related trade.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a VTL Operator.
- Basic knowledge of machining processes and cutting tools.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Familiarity with measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges.

Preferred Experience

Employment Type: Full-Time
Shift: Rotational / Day Shift (as per company requirement)
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
