Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Electrical / Software Engineer with 2–3 years of experience in machine building and industrial automation. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in Structured Text (ST) PLC and HMI programming, electrical systems, and industrial communication protocols, with the ability to independently execute automation projects while meeting quality and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, program, test, and commission PLC and HMI systems for assembly, process, and testing machines
- Work on machine building, automation integration, and electrical system implementation
- Troubleshoot and support electrical, automation, and control systems during development and production stages
- Integrate and configure industrial communication networks such as EtherCAT, Profinet, CC-Link/CC-NET, Ethernet/IP, and Modbus TCP/IP
- Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and software teams for machine development and commissioning
- Ensure compliance with project timelines, quality standards, and customer requirements
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation related to automation systems and electrical controls
- Independently handle assigned automation projects from development to commissioning
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2–3 years of experience in machine building, assembly automation, or industrial automation
- Strong hands-on experience in PLC and HMI programming (mandatory)
- Good understanding of electrical circuits, electronics, sensors, actuators, and basic pneumatics
- Experience with industrial communication protocols: EtherCAT, Profinet, CC-Link / CC-NET
- Ethernet/IP
- Modbus TCP/IP
- Exposure to PLCs/HMIs from: Siemens, Mitsubishi, Beckhoff, Bosch Rexroth and Schneider Electric
- Experience in delivering at least two complex automation projects
- Working knowledge of IEC 61131-3 programming standards
- Knowledge of C programming is an added advantage
- Exposure to automotive industry standards and practices is preferred
- Ability to work independently with strong problem-solving and debugging skills
