1. Job Purpose
The HR Recruiter will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process for academic and non-academic positions across Suraka School. The role involves sourcing suitable candidates, conducting initial screening, coordinating interviews, maintaining recruitment records, and ensuring timely closure of vacancies as per the school's manpower requirements.
2. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for teaching, non-teaching, administrative, and support staff.
- Understand manpower requirements from respective department/branch heads.
- Prepare and post job vacancies on appropriate recruitment platforms.
- Source candidates through job portals, social media, employee referrals, recruitment agencies, and other channels.
- Build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline for current and future vacancies.
- Screen resumes based on qualification, experience, communication skills, salary expectations, and job requirements.
- Conduct initial telephonic/virtual screening of candidates.
- Shortlist suitable candidates and coordinate interview schedules with the concerned department heads.
- Follow up with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Coordinate demo classes, subject assessments, and other selection processes for teaching positions wherever required.
- Negotiate salary/CTC within the approved salary structure.
- Ensure timely closure of open positions.
B. School-Specific Recruitment
- Recruit teachers based on subject expertise, qualification, experience, classroom management, and communication skills.
- Coordinate recruitment for coordinators, counsellors, office staff, front office, transport, housekeeping, security, caretakers, and other support staff.
- Verify candidate qualifications and relevant experience before final selection.
- Ensure candidates meet the school's required standards and eligibility criteria.
- Maintain a ready database of qualified teachers for urgent requirements.
C. Interview & Selection Coordination
- Schedule interviews with candidates and concerned HODs/School Heads.
- Maintain interview feedback and selection status.
- Coordinate multiple rounds of interviews wherever applicable.
- Communicate selection/rejection status professionally to candidates.
- Collect required documents from selected candidates before onboarding.
D. Offer & Onboarding Coordination
- Coordinate the offer process for selected candidates.
- Ensure selected candidates submit all required documents.
- Coordinate with HR/Admin/Payroll teams for joining formalities.
- Track joining dates and ensure selected candidates report as committed.
- Maintain accurate recruitment and onboarding records.
- Follow up with candidates who delay joining or withdraw after selection.
E. Recruitment MIS & Reporting
- Maintain daily and weekly recruitment trackers.
- Share recruitment status reports with the HR Head.
- Track:
- Open vacancies
- Profiles sourced
- Profiles shortlisted
- Interviews scheduled
- Candidates selected
- Offers released
- Candidates joined
- Candidates rejected/withdrawn
- Position-wise closure status
- Maintain a database of active and rejected candidates for future requirements.
- Monitor recruitment turnaround time and vacancy closure.
F. Coordination with School Management
- Regularly communicate with School Heads, Principals, Coordinators, and Department Heads regarding manpower requirements.
- Understand urgent staffing requirements and prioritize recruitment accordingly.
- Provide regular updates on difficult-to-fill positions.
- Coordinate with management for approval of salary packages and final selections.
G. Employee Documentation & Compliance
- Ensure all selected candidates submit mandatory documents before joining.
- Coordinate background/reference verification wherever applicable.
- Ensure recruitment documentation is complete and properly maintained.
- Maintain confidentiality of candidate and employee information.
- Follow all applicable HR policies and organizational recruitment procedures.

4. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
- MBA/PGDM in HR will be an added advantage.
- Prior experience in recruitment/talent acquisition is preferred.
- Experience in school/education-sector recruitment will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
