Job Purpose
The Operations Executive is responsible for overseeing and coordinating end-to-end operational activities across Logistics, Inventory Management, Production Operations, Quality Control, and Warehouse Management. The role ensures seamless movement of materials and finished goods, adherence to quality standards, accurate inventory records, efficient production processes, and timely order fulfillment.
The Operations Executive plays a critical role in maintaining operational efficiency, reducing process bottlenecks, optimizing resources, and ensuring that all operational activities align with company policies, customer expectations, and regulatory requirements.
Key Roles & Responsibilities1. Logistics & Dispatch Management
- Plan and coordinate daily dispatch schedules to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Monitor inbound and outbound logistics activities.
- Coordinate with transporters, vendors, and warehouse personnel for smooth movement of goods.
- Ensure proper documentation for dispatches, including invoices, e-way bills, delivery challans, and transport records.
- Track shipments and resolve transportation-related issues.
- Optimize logistics costs without compromising delivery commitments.
- Monitor return shipments and reverse logistics processes.
2. Inventory & Stock Management
- Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP/software/manual registers.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly stock reconciliation.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure optimum inventory availability.
- Coordinate with procurement for replenishment of raw materials and packaging materials.
- Identify slow-moving, non-moving, damaged, or obsolete stock.
- Conduct periodic physical stock audits and cycle counts.
- Ensure stock accuracy between physical inventory and system inventory.
- Minimize stock losses due to pilferage, damage, or operational errors.
3. Production Operations Management
- Monitor daily production activities and production schedules.
- Ensure production targets are achieved as per plan.
- Coordinate with production teams to maintain workflow efficiency.
- Track machine utilization, manpower deployment, and operational productivity.
- Monitor raw material consumption and production output.
- Ensure production records are updated accurately.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Report production variances and operational challenges to management.
4. Quality Control & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and operational SOPs.
- Coordinate product inspections during production and before dispatch.
- Verify quality parameters for raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
- Investigate quality issues and initiate corrective actions.
- Maintain QC documentation and quality records.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, manufacturing, and regulatory requirements where applicable.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Work towards reducing customer complaints and product defects.
5. Warehouse & Material Management
- Oversee proper storage and handling of materials.
- Ensure adherence to FIFO/FEFO inventory practices.
- Monitor warehouse housekeeping, safety, and organization.
- Coordinate loading and unloading activities.
- Ensure proper labeling and segregation of stock.
- Monitor warehouse space utilization and storage efficiency.
- Implement inventory control procedures to improve operational effectiveness.
6. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate operational records and reports.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
- Update dispatch reports, stock reports, production reports, and quality reports.
- Maintain operational documents, registers, and audit records.
- Generate performance reports for management review.
- Ensure proper filing and document control practices.
7. Coordination & Communication
- Coordinate with Procurement, Sales, Production, Finance, and Warehouse teams.
- Ensure timely communication of operational issues and resolutions.
- Support order fulfillment by aligning inventory and production availability.
- Coordinate with suppliers and service providers for operational requirements.
- Participate in operational review meetings and improvement initiatives.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
