Job Title: Software Tester
Experience Level: 3-8 years
Job Summary: As a Software Tester with 3-8 years of experience, you will be responsible
for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will work closely with
the development team to identify, report, and troubleshoot bugs and defects. Your role will
involve designing and executing test cases, conducting regression testing, and contributing to
the continuous improvement of our testing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Test Planning and Design: Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases for both
new features and regression testing. Ensure test plans cover all aspects of the product
and are updated regularly.
2. Test Execution and Reporting: Execute test cases, analyze results, and document
software defects and anomalies. Provide detailed reports on test results and metrics to
the development team and management.
3. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all aspects of software design and implementation
meet the quality standards and requirements of the company and its clients.
4. Collaboration: Work closely with software developers and other team members in an
Agile/Scrum environment to identify system requirements and coordinate on solving
issues.
5. Continuous Improvement: Continuously improve the testing process by
incorporating new tools and methodologies. Stay updated with the latest trends in
software testing.
6. User Experience Testing: Validate that user interface and experience meet the
design specifications and are user-friendly.
7. Performance Testing: Evaluate the performance of applications under various
conditions, ensuring they meet speed, scalability, and stability benchmarks.
8. Good documentation skills: Create documentation for various software.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
2-8 years of experience in software testing or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.
Excellent analytical skills.
Good understanding of different testing types (e.g., Functional, Load, Performance,
Security Testing).
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge in Windows operating system, basic SQL queries
Experience in testing desktop and web applications.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Knowledge of programming languages such as C# and HTML
