A Paras Plywood Sales Manager drives revenue by setting strategic sales plans, managing distributor networks, and leading teams to achieve targets for plywood and panel products. Key responsibilities include expanding dealer networks, building relationships with architects/contractors, monitoring competitor activity, and ensuring timely payment collections.
Core Roles and Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy & Target Achievement: Develop and implement monthly/quarterly sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Channel Management: Appoint, manage, and train new distributors and dealers to expand market reach. Ensure distributors maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Influencer & Customer Relations: Build relationships with key influencers such as architects, interior designers, and contractors for product approvals.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate sales representatives to achieve individual and team goals.
- Market Intelligence & Reporting: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and product demand to update sales strategies. Prepare daily/weekly reports on sales activities, revenue, and collection via CRM.
- Collection & Logistics: Monitor outstanding payments, follow up on collections, and ensure proper documentation.
Key Requirements:
- Experience: 3–12 years in B2B sales within the plywood, laminates, or timber industry.
- Skills: Strong negotiation, team management, and networking skills.
- Education: Graduate; MBA in Sales & Marketing is preferred
