Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Field Sales Engineer with 4–5 years of experience in selling construction equipment such as Excavators, Wheel Loaders, Soil Compactors, Road Rollers, Backhoe Loaders, and related heavy machinery. The candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing key customer relationships, achieving sales targets, and expanding market presence within the assigned territory.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development
- Identify and develop new customers in construction, infrastructure, mining, quarrying, road projects, and industrial sectors.
- Generate sales leads through field visits, references, networking, and market intelligence.
- Promote and sell Excavators, Wheel Loaders, Compactors, and other construction equipment.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Conduct product demonstrations and customer presentations.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, builders, project managers, fleet owners, and equipment rental companies.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable equipment solutions.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction and long-term business relationships.
- Handle customer queries and coordinate with service teams for issue resolution.
Market Intelligence
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
- Collect market feedback and submit regular sales reports.
- Identify upcoming projects and business opportunities within the territory.
Commercial & Documentation
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and commercial negotiations.
- Coordinate financing, documentation, and order processing.
- Follow up on payments and collections from customers.
Territory Management
- Plan and execute daily field visits.
- Maintain customer database and sales pipeline.
- Participate in trade exhibitions, customer meets, and promotional activities.
Pay: ₹17,500.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
