Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and responsible Godown Manager to oversee and manage all warehouse and inventory operations at our Bhiwandi facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inventory control, stock management, dispatch planning, warehouse team supervision, and ensuring smooth day-to-day godown operations while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse & Inventory Management
- Supervise daily warehouse/godown operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching materials.
- Maintain accurate stock records and inventory reports.
- Monitor inward and outward movement of goods and ensure proper documentation.
- Conduct periodic stock verification and physical inventory audits.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of fabric materials to avoid damage or loss.
- Optimize warehouse space utilization for maximum efficiency.
Team Management
- Supervise warehouse staff, loaders, and helpers.
- Allocate work and monitor team productivity.
- Ensure smooth coordination between warehouse, dispatch, sales, and accounts teams.
- Train staff on warehouse procedures and safety practices.
Logistics & Dispatch Coordination
- Plan and coordinate dispatch schedules for timely deliveries.
- Communicate with transporters, drivers, and logistics partners.
- Monitor shipment status and resolve transportation issues.
- Ensure accurate packing, labeling, and dispatch documentation.
Operational Control
- Monitor warehouse performance and implement process improvements.
- Identify and minimize inventory discrepancies, damages, and losses.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.
- Regularly inspect warehouse equipment and coordinate maintenance when required.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in Godown/Warehouse Management.
- Experience in the Fabric/Textile Industry will be an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, stock control, and warehouse operations.
- Good understanding of dispatch and logistics coordination.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and warehouse inventory systems.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage a team effectively.

Salary
₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month (Based on experience and skillset)
Working Hours
09:00 AM to 6:00 PM | Monday to Saturday
Immediate Joiners Preferred.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
