We are looking for a dedicated and organized Store Keeper to manage the inventory and materials at our construction site. The ideal candidate should have experience in construction material management, stock control, and record maintenance to ensure smooth site operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming construction materials and supplies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock registers.
- Issue materials to site teams as per approved requisitions.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate timely replenishment.
- Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconciliation.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of materials to prevent damage or loss.
- Maintain inward/outward registers, GRNs, and material issue records.
- Coordinate with procurement, site engineers, and vendors regarding material requirements.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards within the store area.
Requirements
- 3 to 8 years of experience as a Store Keeper in construction, real estate, or infrastructure projects.
- Good knowledge of construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and inventory management systems.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to perform stock audits and inventory reconciliation.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Diploma/Graduate in any discipline preferred.
