We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our DevOps and Application Support team in India. This is an amazing opportunity to work on key products in the Intellectual Property space, and managing applications and data in a hybrid environment of Linux servers in data centre running Tomcat, JAVA applications, Elastic Search, etc. as well as various services in Cloud (AWS): EC2, S3, EKS, SQS, Lambda, OpenSearch, …. We also implemented CI/CD and Airflow automation, have extensive monitoring implemented, and we would love to speak with you if you have experience with managing a similar environment.
About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 2 years of experience in an Application Support or DevOps-focused role.
Hands-on experience on AWS services like EC2, S3, IAM, Route53, EKS, CloudFront and Lambda.
Experience supporting applications in an L2 role and having used various deployment methods.
Proficient in Scripting in Linux/Bash.
Having the right attitude with a mix eagerness, respect, willing to learn and grow, responsibility and ownership

What will you be doing in this role?
You will be responsible for,
Application support: make sure applications are available and running fine, maintain monitoring and provide runbooks for L1. Partner with other teams like Development, DBA’s to escalate if necessary. Participate in an on-call rota.
Setup build and deploy CI/CD pipelines, improve existing implementations and be part of the 6-weekly release cycle (Saturday).
Participate in various projects to migrate, upgrade and improve our environment
Extending and improving monitoring capabilities.
Writing infrastructure as code using Terraform.
Sharing innovative ideas and contribute to team improvement.

Hours of Work
This is a full-time opportunity with Clarivate, 9 hours per day including 1 hour lunch break (2nd shift).
