Fox Curio is hiring for a leading Warehouse Innovation & Design Consulting firm in India, specializing in the design of Logistics Parks, Warehouses, Distribution & Fulfilment Centres. Our client delivers data-backed solutions that address operational challenges across Space, Process, and Technology — helping businesses optimize capacities, streamline process flows, and enhance operating efficiencies.
Their engagements span storage system design, material handling solutions (MHE), automation concepts, SOP development, WMS assessment, and technology integration. They also support 3PL clients with end-to-end RFQ/RFP responses, including design and costing, as well as tendering and sourcing for warehouse infrastructure and fit-outs.

Position Summary
This is a senior leadership role responsible for the holistic delivery of client engagements and the operational excellence of the Consulting and Design Team. The Lead Consultant will mentor a team of Senior Consultants, Consultants, and Designers, ensure quality and rigour across all data analysis and design outputs, and act as the senior client-facing point of contact across active projects.
Beyond delivery, this role drives process improvement, quality standards, and commercial hygiene across projects, while requiring deep expertise in warehousing operations, design principles, storage systems, MHE, automation, and technology — combined with strong people leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Solution Development
- Conduct site studies, operational audits, gap analysis, and pre-design assessments
- Mentor the team on analysis of inventory, throughput, and operational data
- Drive capacity planning, resource modelling, and productivity benchmarking
- Develop warehouse layouts, material/process flows, and space optimization strategies
- Conceptualize mechanization and automation solutions
Commercial & RFQ Support
- Evaluate commercial feasibility of proposed solutions
- Develop CAPEX/OPEX models with ROI analysis
- Lead costing and solution development for 3PL/RFQ responses
Project & Solution Ownership
- Lead multiple projects across assessment, design, and solution delivery
- Review layouts, process design, and infrastructure solutions for operational soundness and alignment with client needs
- Ensure quality and consistency of deliverables across engagements
Team Management
- Manage and mentor consultants/program managers across projects
- Allocate resources for balanced workloads and timely delivery
- Build a culture of accountability, learning, and structured problem-solving
- Set performance expectations, conduct reviews, and support skill development
- Drive training programs and knowledge-sharing initiatives
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as senior client-facing representative across engagements
- Lead client presentations, site visits, review meetings, and kick-offs
Implementation & Vendor Support
- Review vendor proposals for fit-outs, equipment, and automation
- Support technical evaluation, selection, and commissioning alignment
Organizational Contribution
- Support Business Development with technical inputs and proposal reviews
- Drive department-level process improvements, SOPs, templates, and checklists
- Contribute to the firm's knowledge repository (case studies, design precedents)
- Represent the firm at industry forums and client events
- Support financial planning, forecasting, and sales targets for the function
Skills Required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, client-facing and internal
- Strong data analysis skills — advanced MS Excel proficiency for storage/throughput modelling, SKU profiling, and capacity calculations
- Ability to read, review, and guide AutoCAD warehouse layout drawings (plans, elevations, sections)
- Experience guiding teams on WMS functionality documentation, process flow charts, and SOPs
- Strong presentation skills for client-ready solution decks and reports
- Proficiency in MS Project
- In-depth knowledge of warehousing/DC operations, storage systems, MHE, automation, KPI benchmarking, and process streamlining
- Proven experience managing client relationships and multi-party project teams
- Strong planning and project management skills across multiple simultaneous engagements
- Structured thinking and attention to detail in validating design outputs
- Leadership maturity to mentor and develop a high-performing team
Added Advantage
- Working knowledge of WMS/ERP platforms and warehouse technology applications
- Experience in SOP development for warehouse operations
- Familiarity with MS Visio, Python, AutoCAD

Pay: ₹900,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
