Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Instrumentation Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting instrumentation and control systems used in industrial and process environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, install, and maintain instrumentation and control systems
- Calibrate sensors, transmitters, control valves, and measurement devices
- Troubleshoot faults in PLC, SCADA, and control systems
- Ensure instruments comply with safety and quality standards
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance
- Interpret P&ID drawings, loop diagrams, and technical specifications
- Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, and process teams
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and maintenance logs
- Support commissioning and shutdown activities
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering or related field
- Strong knowledge of sensors, transmitters, and control systems
- Experience with PLC, DCS, SCADA (Siemens / Allen Bradley / ABB preferred)
- Understanding of P&ID diagrams and control logic
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (HART, Modbus, Profibus, etc.)
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
Preferred (Nice to Have)
- Experience in industries like Oil & Gas / Manufacturing / Power / Chemical / Pharma
- Hands-on experience with field instrumentation
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems
- Safety certifications (if any)
