Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Manager (B2B Sales) to drive business growth by identifying, developing, and managing new client relationships across corporate, educational, institutional, and government sectors.
The ideal candidate will have strong B2B sales experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage the complete sales cycle—from lead generation to deal closure. The role requires frequent client meetings, presentations, and territory management within Mumbai and nearby regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new B2B business opportunities through field visits, networking, and referrals.
- Generate qualified leads and convert them into long-term business relationships.
- Meet decision-makers and conduct product/service presentations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Manage the complete sales cycle, including lead generation, proposal submission, negotiation, and closing.
- Handle tender identification, qualification, documentation, and submission processes where applicable.
- Understand customer requirements and provide suitable business solutions.
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer feedback.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Maintain accurate sales reports, pipeline updates, and CRM records.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in B2B Sales or Business Development.
- Strong communication skills in English, Hindi, and Marathi (preferred).
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
- Ability to build relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Self-motivated with a target-driven approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
- Willingness to travel across Mumbai and surrounding areas.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in selling technical products, industrial solutions, EdTech, SaaS, engineering equipment, or enterprise solutions.
- Strong understanding of consultative selling and account management.
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts and prioritize opportunities effectively.
