We are looking for a sincere and enthusiastic HR-Admin Intern who wants to gain practical exposure in Human Resources and Administration.
This internship is suitable for students or freshers who want to understand how HR and Admin functions work in a real business/manufacturing environment. The intern will support the HR & Admin Team Leader in day-to-day operations such as recruitment coordination, attendance tracking, employee documentation, onboarding support, admin follow-ups, housekeeping coordination, safety/PPE awareness, and employee communication.
This is a 3-month unpaid learning internship. Based on performance, sincerity, and company requirement, the internship may be converted into a full-time job opportunity. The company may also provide internship certificate and placement/reference support.
Roles and Responsibilities
The selected intern will assist the HR & Admin team in the following activities:
HR Operations Support
- Assist in maintaining employee records and HR documentation.
- Help update employee master data, attendance records, leave records, and joining documents.
- Follow up with employees for pending documents, forms, and HR-related information.
- Support in preparing basic HR reports such as attendance summary, leave summary, birthday list, joining list, etc.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information.
Recruitment Support
- Assist in posting job openings on job portals, LinkedIn, WhatsApp groups, colleges, and other platforms.
- Screen resumes based on basic criteria shared by the HR team.
- Call candidates for basic details, availability, and interview coordination.
- Schedule interviews and coordinate with candidates and internal team members.
- Maintain recruitment tracker with candidate status and follow-up updates.
- Send interview reminders and follow up with candidates.
Onboarding Support
- Assist in preparing joining documents and onboarding checklist.
- Help collect documents from new employees.
- Support HR in basic induction and orientation activities.
- Coordinate with Admin, IT, and department heads for joining arrangements.
Admin Support
- Support daily admin activities related to housekeeping, office supplies, pantry items, stationery, visitor coordination, courier records, and workplace cleanliness.
- Help maintain admin checklists and follow-up trackers.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, security, vendors, and support staff as instructed.
- Assist in maintaining records of office consumables and admin-related requirements.
Safety and Discipline Support
- Support HR/Admin team in creating awareness for safety shoes, PPE, ID cards, workplace discipline, and cleanliness.
- Help monitor basic workplace discipline and report observations to the HR & Admin Team Leader.
- Assist in preparing simple internal communication messages, notices, and reminders.
Documentation and Reporting
- Update HR/Admin trackers in Excel or Google Sheets.
- Scan, file, rename, and organize documents properly.
- Prepare basic reports and summaries as instructed.
- Maintain proper records of assigned activities.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Pursuing or recently completed BBA, MBA, B.Com, M.Com, MSW, HR, Business Administration, or related field.
- Freshers and students looking for practical exposure may apply.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Google Sheets, MS Word, and email communication.
- Good communication skills in Hindi and Gujarati. Basic English communication will be preferred.
- Willingness to work from office.
- Must be sincere, punctual, disciplined, and eager to learn.
- Should be comfortable coordinating with employees, candidates, vendors, and support staff.
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality of employee and company information.
Pay: ₹1,000.00 per month
