Key Responsibilities
inventory & Ordering: Monitor stock levels, identify purchasing needs, and place orders for materials or products.
Vendor Management: Research potential vendors, maintain relationships, and negotiate prices or terms.
Order Tracking: Track shipments to ensure timely delivery and verify received goods against purchase orders.
Administration: Maintain accurate records of purchases, invoices, and contracts in databases.
Collaboration: Work with warehouse and finance departments to coordinate receipt and payment of goods.
Documentation: Prepare and process purchase orders and maintain purchasing files.
