Position Overview
We are seeking an energetic, results-driven, and articulate Outbound Sales Executive to join our growing International Sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving business growth across the Australian market within the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) vertical.
You will engage directly with Australian prospective clients—proactively reaching out to qualified leads, introducing tailored financial products or services, overcoming objections, and closing high-value deals or securing high-converting appointments.
Key Responsibilities
- Outbound Lead Generation & Conversion: Proactively contact prospective clients across the Australian region via outbound phone calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach.
- BFSI Solution Selling: Pitch financial services, insurance products, wealth management tools, or banking solutions tailored to customer requirements while adhering strictly to regulatory standards.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain and manage a healthy pipeline of prospects in the CRM (Salesforce/HubSpot), tracking interactions, call-backs, and deal stages.
- Relationship & Rapport Building: Establish trust and build quick rapport with Australian prospects by demonstrating clear accent neutrality, active listening, and strong financial product knowledge.
- Objection Handling: Confidently address client queries, overcome resistance, and navigate compliance/risk guidelines during sales conversations.
- KPI & Quota Achievement: Consistently hit or exceed daily call targets, talk time metrics, pipeline progression, and monthly sales/conversion quotas.
- Market Insight: Stay up to date with Australian BFSI market trends, competitive products, and financial regulations.
Key Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: 1 to 4 years of proven experience in outbound sales, telesales, or business development, preferably within an International BPO/KPO environment or BFSI sector.
- Language & Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills. Excellent accent neutrality and familiarity with Australian business culture and telephone etiquette are highly preferred.
- Domain Knowledge: Understanding of financial products (e.g., mortgages, personal loans, general/life insurance, superannuation, or merchant services).
- Tech Savvy: Proficient in using CRM tools (Salesforce, Zoho, or similar), cloud dialers, and Microsoft Excel.
- Shift Readiness: Absolute comfort working early morning shifts to align with Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST).
Core Competencies & Behavioral Traits
- Persuasive & Goal-Oriented: High energy with a strong drive to close deals and earn uncapped commissions.
- Resilience: Ability to handle rejection professionally and maintain momentum throughout high-volume outbound calling.
- Active Listener: Ability to perform needs discovery rather than reading a rigid script.
- Compliance Mindset: Strong attention to details regarding data privacy, verification, and ethical sales practices.
