Electrician – Hotel Maintenance Job Description
Position Title: Electrician

Job Summary:
The Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment within the hotel premises. This role ensures all electrical operations run safely and efficiently to support guest comfort and hotel operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections of electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures.
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical equipment such as lighting, power systems, generators, air condition, electrical gadgets and control panels.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guest rooms and hotel departments.
- Ensure uninterrupted power supply and assist in managing backup systems like generators and UPS.
- Diagnose faults using appropriate testing devices and tools.
- Maintain records of maintenance work and repairs.
- Follow safety procedures and comply with local electrical codes and regulations.
- Coordinate with other maintenance staff for overall building upkeep.
- Assist in energy conservation initiatives and efficient electrical usage.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Diploma or certification in Electrical Engineering or relevant trade.
- Proven experience as an electrician, preferably in hotels or large facilities.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and safety standards.
- Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Working Conditions:
- May require shift work, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to work in confined spaces or at heights when necessary.
- On-call availability for emergency repairs.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
